FULL MOON SCRYING PRACTICE
Scrying is an ancient ritual that has likely been practiced by our ancestors since the beginning of time. It allows us a gentle way to work divination, using only our own inner wisdom, water, and the light of the moon. The patience and openness required to receive messages invites us into a sacred moment of quietude and reminds us of the psychic capabilities that reside within us all.

RITUAL
Get a bowl of water, the larger the opening, the better.
Place spring water in the bowl.
Take the bowl outside under the full moon light so you can see the moon in the water.
(Alternatively, if you can, go to a body of water and watch the moon’s light in the water.)
Before you begin, if it feels right, say to the moon, “I’m here to listen and I am here to grow.”
To go into the practice of scrying from a place of gratitude and honor, say thank you to the water and the moon.
Look into the bowl from a quiet and still place. Simply watch and listen from your inner ear.
Let go of your analytical mind, watching the ripples and reflections.
Let the water show you different images or bring up different impressions.
If it feels right, write any impressions that come up in a special journal dedicated to your work with the moon.
If you are called, share the messages that come through for you with other sisters of the moon.
*Scrying can be done on any full moon with the exception of eclipses.
