WANING MOON RITUAL
The moon is waning from its brightest moment at the full moon until its darkness moment at the new moon. This window of time is a time of completion, tying up loose ends, and seeing what needs to release in order to transform and begin anew.
As we move closer to the new moon, we want to be sure the things will create in the next lunation have the space they need to thrive. Now is the time to clear away all that’s excess.
Try this ritual for reflection to harness the waning moon phase we’re currently in.
ritual for completion
Ritual:
Take a few moments to take stock of the projects going on in your life.
Maybe you need to make a list of all the different things you are currently working on — including house projects, work projects, and creative projects.
Assess which projects are near completion.
How many have you started but abandoned and left unfinished?
Are there any you’ve been avoiding wrapping up?
Choose three projects to wrap up between now and the next New Moon.
Commit to persevering through procrastination or excuses that might come up.
Notice how satisfied you feel once the projects can finally be ticked off the to-do list.
