Witnessing the cycles of the Earth give us tangible insight into why the process of DeManifestation is just as important as Manifestation — that both emptiness and abundance have their sacred place in the web of life.

Try this ritual to connect with the transformative element of Earth.

Ritual:

Look back to what you were called to release on this past Full Moon or take some time to reflect now on what is no longer serving you.

With a non-toxic pen and, most ideally, on a page of seed paper, write what it is you are ready to transform.

Find a spot in nature where you can dig a small hole in the ground.

Dig about 2” into the ground if you can. To really feel the connection, perhaps you want to dig with your hands.

Place your paper into the Earth and cover it back up with dirt. If you don’t have access to seed paper, consider burying some seeds with it. Water it into place.

Ask the Earth to assist you in transformation. Sow your intention for beautiful flowers to spring us in its place.

Say thank you and leave an offering in exchange. Maybe it’s a song, a flower essence, a piece of your hair — trust what feels right.
