POTION FOR SEEING RITUAL

As healers or space holders for others, we can call on the plants to assist us in seeing what is needed for healing so that we can reflect back to the person how they can transform their pain.

Plants like yarrow, for example, open up our inner eye and help us see more clearly.
Self heal, or heal-all, encourages responsibility to be one’s own healer.
Immortelle invites the healing of deep, childhood wounds.

Together they become allies in our process of going in to identify the wounded parts of ourselves or others, and helping people remember their courage, so that they can commit to their own healing journey.

Try making this potion for seeing, which you can use for yourself or when healing with others.

Ingredients:

Carrier oil of your choice (olive oil, almond oil, etc.)

Yarrow

Self heal

Essential oils of lavender and immortelle

Quartz crystal

Ritual:

Create your own potion for seeing.

Gather enough yarrow and self heal to fill up a small jar.

Be sure to ask for a “yes” from the Earth before harvesting.

Fill the jar up with oil, covering the plant matter all the way.

Put one or multiple quartz crystals into the jar.

Allow the plants to sit in the jar for one moon cycle.

Decant the oil, straining out all the plant matter, so you’re left with just the infused oil.

Add enough of the lavender and immortelle essential oils so that the scent is pleasurable to you.

Put the potion on your altar to bless it. Envision yourself infusing it with your own unique light.

After having it on your altar for 8 days, call upon this potion any time you need assistance with “seeing” into the wounds that are necessary to shine a light on for healing.
