SACRED MIRROR RITUAL

For a Witch, the mirror is a tool of reflection. Because Witches are the great transformers, whenever possible, A Witch works with a mirror to reflect another’s great beauty and love back to them.

Mirrors can be worked with for self reflection, such as the practice of mirror gazing to activate self love. Self reflection is the key to self compassion, self compassion is the key to creating a more compassionate world.

Mirrors can also be a tool to reflect back energy that is being sent to or projected onto you that is not for your highest good.

Life itself can be a sacred mirror and more specifically, our relationships are perfect mirrors for what we are processing. Especially when there is true love, you can see the places where you need healing, where you need growth, reflected back to you in the eyes, words and actions of the ones who love you.

(But Sensitive Soul, beware! This doesn’t mean that you are responsible for another’s path, life choices or actions. And please always remember that someone who truly loves you will never try to change you.)

What You Need:

A connection to your imagination

A quiet place

15 Minutes of focus

Ritual:

Close your eyes and feel deeply held by the earth.

Take six deep breaths.

Imagine that you can feel and sense all the energy that is coming towards you. Perhaps you hear words, see colors or see something visually in your inner senses.

Note what you are sensing.

Imagine that you have the ability to create a mirror around you in every direction, and that whatever is projected onto you is sent back to the sender, but through the eyes of love.

If someone directs something that feels like jealousy onto you, the mirror can transmute this into an awareness of what they want or inspiration.

If someone directs loving kindness to you, the mirror can send this loving kindness back.

Allow yourself to truly imagine the mirror’s magic reflecting and transmuting what you sense in your energy field.

When you feel complete, thank the mirror and your beautiful spirit and the energy that was sent to you as a teacher.
