We explore the wind element deeply at the Element Retreat. On the day we dedicate to the element wind, we’re all collectively holding a space of silence. This is very intentional.
We can call on the wind that creates our thoughts to help us purify our reoccurring patterns and clarify the ideas we carry. By getting quiet when communing with wind, we allow our hearts to clear and open up to hear its secrets whispered in our ears.
Try this Ritual Bath for working with the wind element to ground your ideas into reality and release any burdening stories that might be stuck on a loop in your mind.
SACRED WIND RITUAL BATH
INGREDIENTS
Creeping phlox flower
Apple blossoms
Violet leaf
1 cup of rainwater
1 cup of epsom salt
Sandalwood rope incense
Quartz crystal
RITUAL
• Place all the ingredients in the bath at a temperature of your choosing.
• Light a candle.
• Create a smudge using sandalwood rope incense by putting it in a nonflammable tray of some kind and igniting it. Waft the smoke around your body using a feather you have found.
• Step into the bath and dunk your head underwater.
• Place a quartz crystal on the place between your throat and your heart.
• Close your eyes.
Call in the element of wind to help clean your energy.
• Begin to hum very softly and very lightly. Move the sound all around your throat, all around your heart, up into your head, and back down to your heart.
• Sit in silence in a place of deep listening.
