UNITY CONSCIOUSNESS RITUAL
What is the definition of Unity Consciousness?
In the spiritual world, you may often hear of the idea of Unity Consciousness. Unity consciousness can sometimes be portrayed as a magical state of bliss that you are meant to chase or achieve in permanence. But truly magical people know that change and transformation are how we learn and grow.
Rather than thinking of unity consciousness as being without boundaries, or leaving our earthly bodies and hanging out in the higher dimensions, I think of Unity Consciousness as being at peace with what is, and having acceptance with whatever comes up, because of a deep embodied knowing that we are all innately connected to all of nature, to all of life, to all of the unseen realm.
And this knowing of unity is so needed at this time. Unity does not ask us to erase or silence anyone’s history or experience, instead it asks us to find what is universal within the human experience, and perhaps even within the soul’s experience and to create great magic from this web of connection.
Our bodies are made of the same elements as the stars. We are mostly made of water which connects us to the earth, and one another. When we want to create healing for the feeling of loneliness, obsession with the material or exploiting ourselves to be liked instead of loved, we call in the energy of Unity Consciousness, which reminds us that everything in all of existence was birthed by the Great Mystery.

What you will need:
A place to sit upon the earth or a quiet place indoors
A glass of spring water
Ritual:
There is so much symbology that seems to appear in almost every wisdom tradition if you go far back enough to our ancient roots.
One of the most universal symbols is the Tree of Life.
The tree of life deeply connects to all that is below. Its deep roots have a relationship with the underground, the darkness and the earth’s core. This is the part of the tree that is anchored in the mystery.
The tree’s branches reach out towards the sun, as if its open arms are like antenna sending messages from the earth to the cosmos.
In this ritual, sit quietly in stillness, and if possible, with your body on the earth.
If you aren’t able to be outside, envision your body on the earth in your Witch’s eye.
Imagine deep roots spreading into the ground made of iridescent silver. Imagine the roots finding groundwater, metals and the beautiful decomposers of the underground until you reach the earth’s beautiful green core. Spend time here just feeling what it is like to feel connected to the earth’s heartbeat.
Imagine branches spreading out from your shoulders and head into the cosmos. Imagine the branches reaching the beautiful clouds and sun, the mountains and mist, and spreading out over the oceans. Feel connected to the breeze and the earth and the birds and all of the four-legged and two-legged beings of the earth. Feel connected to the heart of the cosmos.
Breathe into your heart, the place where all that you connect to meets within you. Feel the stillness, love and joy that is always available to you here. Put your hands on your glass of water and imagine breathing that energy into the glass.
Take a sip of this water, and if you are called add some to a bath.
Put some water on your altar and pour some into the earth to keep the magic of this ritual rippling out.
